For the manufacture of our ballistic panels we use high density polyethylene fabric , or better known as PEUD or UHMWPE or ARAMID UD fabrics.
The B.E. Armor 4000 model is NIJ 0101.06 level IIIA certified . In addition, the B.E. Armor 4000 passed the DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) body armor test protocol which not only requires higher ballistic resistance but also fragmentation resistance according to the USA Military Standard MIL-662F.
The B.E. Armor Elite II model is also manufactured with UHMWPE fabric and is NIJ 0101.06 level II certified. This model is adequate when lighter weight with adequate protection are required.
The B.E. Armor Para IIIA si manufactured with a combination of Aramid UD fabrics which provide a thin profile, excellent ballistic protection, which is adequate for discreet protective garments.
